Matthew Thompson (born 1968) is a British Anglican priest.
He was previously, since 2008, vicar of Bolton Parish Church in the Diocese of Manchester.
[1] In 1991, he matriculated into Ridley Hall, Cambridge, an evangelical Anglican theological college, to train for ordained ministry.
[1] During this time he also continued his theological studies, and graduated from Corpus Christi College, Cambridge with a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree in 1994.
[1] From 1994 to 1997, he served his curacy at the Parish of the Ascension, Hulme in the Diocese of Manchester.
