Mattanur Sankarankutty Marar (M. P. Sankara Marar) is an Indian percussionist who plays the chenda (a traditional Kerala drum), Thayambaka, Panchari melam, and Panchavadyam.

He was born in Mattanur in Kannur district of Kerala.
