Matthew Ellul (born 23 May 2002) is a Maltese professional footballer who plays as a defender for Hibernians.
[2] Ellul started his youth career at the Hibernians academy when he was 16.
[3] While at Hibernians he played in the Maltese Premier League and scored 1 goal there through his career.
In the Europa League qualifying at the 2019-20 season and the 2020-21 season[4] Ellul made his international debut with Malta Under 16 national team at 24 April 2018 against the Andorra Under 16 national team.
Ellul hasn't played any minutes with the Under-19 team because of being in the bench all matches.
