Matthew Wood (rugby league)

Matthew Wood (born 15 March 1969) is an Australian former rugby league footballer who played in the 1980s and 1990s.

He played his entire club football career with the Canberra Raiders Wood was a Canberra junior playing S.G. Ball Cup in 1987, Jersey Flegg Cup in 1988, and was graded from the Queanbeyan Kangaroos in 1988.

Wood also scored two tries and a goal when the Raiders lost to the Panthers in the grand final the following year.
