Maude Charron

Cl&Jerk 133kg[2] Maude G. Charron (born 28 April 1993) is a Canadian weightlifter,[3] who competes in the 63/64 kg category and represents Canada at international competitions.

[5] In her buildup to the 2020 Summer Olympics Charron competed at the 2020 Pan American Weightlifting Championships which were held in 2021 as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

She had a very successful competition in Santo Domingo on her way to gold setting personal bests and a Panamerican Record in all of the snatch, clean & jerk, and total lifted categories.

[7] Charron joined the Canadian team for the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, and was named as co-flagbearer for the opening ceremony alongside wheelchair racer Josh Cassidy.

[10] In December 2022, she won the bronze medal in the women's 59 kg event at the World Weightlifting Championships held in Bogotá, Colombia.
