Max Blouw

Max Blouw CM (born 1951) was the president and vice-chancellor of Wilfrid Laurier University.

[3] Blouw began his career as a biologist in the Department of Fisheries and Oceans in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

The Council recently reappointed Blouw to a second term as the chair of the university advisory group to Industry Canada.

He is the recipient of the 2005 Science and Technology Champion Award from the BC Innovation Council "in recognition of his leadership".

[4] Blouw is married to Lynn, with whom he has two sons: Peter and Carl and they live in Victoria, British Columbia.
