Mayodan is a town in Rockingham County, North Carolina, in the United States.

It is a manufacturing site for Sturm, Ruger & Co., Bridgestone Aircraft Tire, and formerly General Tobacco (ceased operations 2010).

[5] The Washington Mills-Mayodan Plant was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

As of the 2020 United States census, there were 2,418 people, 1,170 households, and 671 families residing in the town.

41.4% of all households were made up of individuals, and 21.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
