Mayorga is a district of the Liberia canton, in the Guanacaste province of Costa Rica.

[1][2] Mayorga was created on 26 November 1971 by Decreto Ejecutivo 2077-G.

[2] Mayorga has an area of 227.39 km²[3] and an elevation of 366 metres.

[6] Administrative center of the district is García Flamenco, other villages ar Argentina and Buenavista.
