He represented Senegal at the 2019 African Games held in Rabat, Morocco, where he won the gold medal in the men's +100 kg event.

[1] In the same year, he also won the gold medal in the men's +100 kg event at the 2019 African Judo Championships held in Cape Town, South Africa.

In 2021, he competed in the men's +100 kg event at the Judo World Masters held in Doha, Qatar.

[3] At the 2021 African Judo Championships held in Dakar, Senegal, he won one of the bronze medals in his event.

[4] He also competed in the men's +100 kg event at the 2020 Summer Olympics held in Tokyo, Japan.
