Mead is a town in Clark County in the U.S. state of Wisconsin.

As of the census[2] of 2000, there were 290 people, 115 households, and 80 families residing in the town.

The racial makeup of the town was 95.86% White, 1.72% Native American, and 2.41% from two or more races.

24.3% of all households were made up of individuals, and 7.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.

About 14.9% of families and 20.0% of the population were below the poverty line, including 38.0% of those under the age of eighteen and 11.5% of those 65 or over.
