Medora is a village in Macoupin County, Illinois, United States.

Carlinville, the Macoupin county seat, is 20 miles (32 km) to the northeast via Routes 111 and 108.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, Medora has a total area of 0.38 square miles (0.98 km2), all land.
