He completed his master's thesis on Egyptian novelist and short story author Yahya Haqqi.

Suçin was part of the team that produced the semi-dramatic documentary "Golden Wings: A Story of Courage", sponsored by the Turkish Radio and Television Corporation (TRT).

Suçin chaired the commission that prepared Arabic curricula based on CEFR for primary and secondary schools in Turkey (2012-2014).

He is a member of the Scientific Committee of the Sheikh Zayed Book Award (SZBA),[2] organized by the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre (ALC).

He has translated works from both classical and modern Arabic literature into Turkish, including those of Mu'allaqat poets, Ibn Hazm, Adonis, Mahmoud Darwish, Kahlil Gibran, Nizar Qabbani, Mohammed Bennis and many others.
