Mekliganj is an assembly constituency in Cooch Behar district in the Indian state of West Bengal.

[6] In the 2011 elections, Paresh Chandra Adhikary of AIFB defeated his nearest rival Jayanta Kumar Ray of Congress.

In the 2006 state assembly elections,[9] Paresh Chandra Adhikary of Forward Bloc won the Mekliganj seat defeating his nearest rival Sunil Chandra Roy of Trinamool Congress.

In 2001,[10] Paresh Chandra Adhikary of Forward Bloc defeated Ramesh Roy of Trinmool Congress.

In 1991,[12] Paresh Chandra Adhikary of Forward Bloc defeated Mani Bhusan Roy of Congress.
