Meme McDonald (19 July 1954 – 23 December 2017) was an Australian writer, artistic director and advocate for Indigenous reconciliation.
Living on the land, she was taught by her mother until age eight, when she was sent away to boarding school.
[1] After graduating from the Victorian College of the Arts, McDonald and others founded WEST Theatre Company.
