Merhawi Kudus Ghebremedhin (Tigrinya: መርሃዊ ቕዱስን ገብረመድኅን; born 23 January 1994) is an Eritrean professional cyclist, who currently rides for UCI ProTeam Burgos Burpellet BH.
[7] During his professional career, Merhawi has taken six victories including three national road titles as well as the general classification and two stages at the 2019 Tour du Rwanda.
Born in Asmara,[8] Merhawi was named in the start list for the 2015 Tour de France,[9] becoming one of the first two black Africans to start the Tour alongside teammate and countryman Daniel Teklehaimanot.
