Meshkan Rural District (Persian: دهستان مشکان)[a] is in Meshkan District of Khoshab County, Razavi Khorasan province, Iran.

[5] There were 5,078 inhabitants in 1,320 households at the following census of 2011,[6] by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Khoshab County.

The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 5,333 in 1,565 households.

The most populous of its 14 villages was Meshkan (now a city),[7] with 3,540 people.
