Michael Allen Andrews (born February 7, 1944) is an American attorney and politician who served as a member of the United States House of Representatives from Texas.
[1] Born in Houston, Andrews graduated from Arlington Heights High School in Fort Worth, Texas in 1962.
Andrews first ran for Congress in 1980 in Texas's 22nd congressional district, narrowly losing to Republican incumbent Ron Paul.
He was not a candidate for renomination in 1994, choosing instead to run for the Democratic nomination in the 1994 United States Senate election.
