Michael Mental (born July 6, 1985) is an American college football coach and former player.
He is the head football coach at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah, a position his had held since the 2023 season.
Mental was a three-year starting quarterback at Baldwin Wallace University in Berea, Ohio, and earned a tryout with the Cleveland Browns of the National Football League (NFL) after his college career ended.
After these two years, Mental departed Notre Dame to spend 2022 as the offensive coordinator of Weber State.
