Micromyrtus obovata

Micromyrtus obovata is a species of the flowering plant in the family Myrtaceae and is endemic to the south-west of Western Australia.

The petals are white, very broadly egg-shaped with the narrower end towards the base and 1.5–2.0 mm (0.059–0.079 in) long.

[4][5] In 1985, John Green transferred the species to Micromyrtus as M. obovata .

[6] The specific epithet (obovata) means "inverted egg-shaped", referring to the shape of the leaves.

[7] Micromyrtus obovata grows on hills, slopes and flats between Wubin, Lake Grace and Southern Cross in the Avon Wheatbelt, Coolgardie, Esperance Plains, and Mallee bioregions of south-western Western Australia.
