Mike Hill (bishop)

Michael Arthur Hill (born 17 April 1949) is an English Anglican bishop.

In addition to parish ministry, he had been the Archdeacon of Berkshire (1992–1998) and the Bishop of Buckingham (1998–2003).

From 1983 to 1990 he was priest in charge of St Leonard's Chesham Bois.

[10] Hill withdrew from public ministry in June 2020 while the subject of a racism inquiry conducted by a Church of England tribunal.

[11][12] In January 2021, he was "formally rebuked" having admitted that he had used racial stereotypes in a letter of reference for a fellow clergyman.
