Mike Ingham

Michael Robert Ingham MBE (born 24 September 1950 in Cheshire)[1] is an English football commentator and broadcaster.

He is noted for his measured, eloquent style, often seen as something of a throwback to earlier days of sports broadcasting.

He is a keen record collector and music fan, and occasionally hosted Andy Peebles' show on Radio 1 during the early 1980s.

Ingham is a big Plymouth Argyle fan, as noted in his autobiography Extra Time and Penalties.

He's also a season ticket holder at Home Park Ingham was appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the 2010 Birthday Honours for services to sports broadcasting.
