Michael Timothy Nagy (born March 25, 1948) is an American former professional baseball pitcher who played for the Boston Red Sox, St. Louis Cardinals, Texas Rangers and Houston Astros of Major League Baseball (MLB).
He batted and threw right-handed, stood 6 feet 3 inches (1.91 m) tall and weighed 195 pounds (88 kg).
[1] Nagy was born in The Bronx but raised in Lebanon, Pennsylvania by a Jewish family originally from New Jersey.
[3] He spent the next three years with the Red Sox before being traded to the St. Louis Cardinals for a player to be named later.
The Cardinals originally sent pitcher Charlie Hudson and a player to be named later to the Rangers for Mike Thompson.
