Mikhaylovsky District (Russian: Миха́йловский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[5] district (raion), one of the fifty-nine in Altai Krai, Russia.
It is located in the southwest of the krai.
The area of the district is 3,100 square kilometers (1,200 sq mi).
[2] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Mikhaylovskoye.
[3] Pink lake Malinovoye and lake Gornostalevo are located in the district.
