Miles, Texas

Miles is a city in Runnels County, Texas, United States.

[4] The city was named after Johnathan Miles, who donated $5,000 to a fund for an extension of a railroad track.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.4 square miles (3.6 km2), all land.

[5] As of the 2020 United States census, there were 875 people, 337 households, and 241 families residing in the city.

About 22.0% of all households were made up of individuals, and 14.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
