Classes were held in 22 temporary buildings at Wagenheim Junior High School in Mira Mesa, San Diego.
[3] In 1996 Minato Gakuen switched to holding classes at Eastlake High School in Chula Vista.
The board of directors planned to donate funds to the school district as a part of the agreement.
[5] In July 1996 the school district's board of directors formally accepted the donation, totaling $10,000.
