Minjavan-e Sharqi Rural District (Persian: دهستان منجوان شرقي)[3] is in Minjavan District of Khoda Afarin County, East Azerbaijan province, Iran.

[5] At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population (as a part of the former Khoda Afarin District of Kaleybar County) was 5,727 in 1,376 households.

The most populous of its 37 villages was Janan Lu, with 1,742 people.
