[2] Mississauga—Erin Mills was created by the 2012 federal electoral boundaries redistribution and was legally defined in the 2013 representation order.

It came into effect upon the call of the 42nd Canadian federal election, held on 19 October 2015.

[3] Following the 2022 Canadian federal electoral redistribution, the riding will lose the part of Meadowvale Village east of the Credit River to Mississauga—Malton.

This change will come into effect upon the calling of the 2025 Canadian federal election.
