Mohammad Mohammadullah[a] (21 October 1921 – 12 November 1999) was the third president of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.
[3] In 1953, he was elected as office secretary of East Pakistan and held the same position till 1972 after being nominated by Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Mohammadullah was elected to the East Pakistan Provincial Assembly on the ticket of the Awami League in 1970.
[2] He was appointed as the political advisor to the Acting President Syed Nazrul Islam during the Bangladesh Liberation War in 1971.
He was elected to the Member of the Parliament (JS) from the Raipur-Lakshmipur constituency, and was re-elected Speaker of the House again in 1973.
