Mohammadabad, Maneh

Mohammadabad (Persian: محمداباد)[a] is a village in Atrak Rural District[b] of the Central District[c] of Maneh County, North Khorasan province, Iran.

It became the capital of Atrak Rural District after transfer from the village of Pish Qaleh[6] (now a city), and the capital has now been transferred once again to the village of Bazareh-ye Qarnas.

[5] At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 2,135 in 593 households, when it was in Maneh District[d] of Maneh and Samalqan County.

[8] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 2,267 people in 735 households.
