Md Sohorab Hossain is a retired Bangladeshi civil servant and served as the chairman of the Bangladesh Public Service Commission.

He completed his bachelor's degree and master's in Bengali language and literature from the University of Dhaka.

[6] Hossain joined the admin cadre of Bangladesh Civil Service in 1984 and after training started working as an assistant commissioner in 1986.

[6] In September 2020, Hossain was appointed the chairman of the Bangladesh Public Service Commission for a five-year term.

[10][11] He replaced Mohammad Sadique as chairman of the Bangladesh Public Service Commission.
