Mohsina Kidwai

Mohsina Kidwai (born 1 January 1932) is an Indian politician and former union minister and parliamentarian from the Indian National Congress party belonging from the Barabanki district of Uttar Pradesh.

She served as a union minister under Prime Ministers Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi holding several important portfolios.

She also served as a member of the Rajya Sabha from Chhattisgarh[1],[2] between 2004 and 2016.

[2] Kidwai has held a variety of leadership positions within the Congress party including General Secretary of AICC.

Kidwai is known for her proximity to Congress Party Chief, Sonia Gandhi.
