Momtazuddin Ahmed (dramatist)

Saat Ghater Kanakori (বাংলা):সাত ঘাটের কানাকড়ি Momtazuddin Ahmed (18 January 1935 – 2 June 2019)[1][2] was a Bangladeshi playwright-actor and educationist.

[5] Ahmed taught Bengali, Sanskrit, and European drama in several non-government and government colleges for over 32 years.

[3] Rabindra Bharati University included his writings Raja Onushwarer Pala and Ki Chaho Shankhachil in its curriculum.

[2] Ahmed was a director of the Department of Research and Publications at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy during 1977–1980.

[5][2] Later, he served the Bangladesh Permanent Mission to the United Nations as cultural minister.
