Mongoumba

Mongoumba is a town located in the Lobaye Prefecture, Central African Republic.

[3] During World War I, French Army captured Mongoumba from Germany on 9 August 1914.

[4] French colonial government established a customs post in Mongoumba on 17 May 1923.

[5] On 5 March 2003, Movement for the Liberation of the Congo attacked Mongoumba to avenge FACA action who seized MLC logistics and detained its members.

Moreover, MLC militias raped women and pillaged the hospital and houses.
