Monroe (also referred to as Monroeton[3]) is a borough in Bradford County, Pennsylvania, United States.
[4] Monroeton is located in south-central Bradford County at 41°42′46″N 76°28′31″W / 41.71278°N 76.47528°W / 41.71278; -76.47528 (41.712709, -76.475308),[5] in the valley of Towanda Creek, a tributary of the Susquehanna River.
Monroeton was described in 1940 as "a Y-shaped farming village of small vine-covered houses.
Pennsylvania Route 414 leads west from the borough 21 miles (34 km) to Canton.
