Montluel station

As of 2022, the station is owned and operated by the SNCF and served by TER Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes trains.

[2] On 7 January 2011, a 16-year old teenager, Antoine Mauresa, was fatally wounded by a TER train at the station.

Following the incident, the safety of the station (which had no pedestrian overpass or underpass at the time), was widely called into question.

Operated by the SNCF, the station has a passenger building equipped with automatic vending machines for purchasing tickets.

[4] Montluel station is served by TER Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes trains running between Lyon-Part-Dieu or Lyon-Perrache and Ambérieu-en-Bugey.
