Mooers is a town in Clinton County, New York, United States.

The town forms part of the northern border of Clinton County and is northwest of Plattsburgh.

The Great Chazy River flows eastward through the town.

As of the census[6] of 2000, there were 3,404 people, 1,264 households, and 942 families residing in the town.

20.4% of all households were made up of individuals, and 9.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
