Morava, Žužemberk

Morava (pronounced [mɔˈɾaːʋa], German: Morawa[2]) is a formerly independent settlement east of Mačkovec pri Dvoru in southeast Slovenia.

It is part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola and is now included with the rest of the municipality in the Southeast Slovenia Statistical Region.

Morava stands southeast of the main settlement of Podlipa.

There is an intermittent spring named Beč in the hamlet.

[1] Morava was annexed by Podlipa in 1953, ending its existence as an independent settlement.
