Moravská Nová Ves

Moravská Nová Ves (until 1911 Nová Ves; German: Mährisch Neudorf) is a market town in Břeclav District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic.

Located near the Moravian-Hungarian border, the village was constantly threatened by raids from the Kingdom of Hungary, which hindered its development.

After that, Nová Ves began to develop and in 1807 it was promoted to a market town.

[2] Moravská Nová Ves was heavily damaged by the 2021 South Moravia tornado.

[6] The main landmark of the market town is the Church of Saint James the Great.
