Morgan, Georgia

Morgan is a city in Calhoun County, Georgia, United States.

[5] Morgan was founded in 1854 as seat of the newly formed Calhoun County.

[6] The city was named after Hiram Morgan, a county official.

[7] From 1923 to 1929, Morgan was replaced as county seat by Arlington, Georgia after a referendum.

According to the United States Census Bureau, Morgan has a total area of 1.3 square miles (3.4 km2), all land.
