[17] Weaver returned to the pitch on Sept 13, 2024 as a substitute in the 66th minute of a 0-1 loss to Chicago Red Stars at Providence Park.
[18] Coinciding with her return from injury, the Thorns announced that Weaver had signed a contract extension with the club through 2028.
