Motyginsky District

Motyginsky District (Russian: Моты́гинский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[5] district (raion), one of the forty-three in Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia.

The area of the district is 18,983 square kilometers (7,329 sq mi).

[2] Its administrative center is the urban locality (an urban-type settlement) of Motygino.

[3] The district is located in the Angara River valley.

The district was founded on July 1, 1931.
