Mount Evan-Thomas is a 3,097-metre (10,161-foot) mountain summit located in the Opal Range of the Canadian Rockies of Alberta, Canada.
Its nearest higher peak is Mount Rae, 18.0 km (11.2 mi) to the south-southeast.
[3] The mountain was named in honor of Rear Admiral Sir Hugh Evan-Thomas (1862–1928),[6] Royal Navy commander of the 5th Battle Squadron of the Grand Fleet during the Battle of Jutland in World War I.

In terms of favorable weather, June through September are the best months to climb Mount Evan-Thomas.
