Mount Matutum is an active stratovolcano, is the highest point in the province of South Cotabato in the Philippines, with an elevation of 7,500 feet (2,286 metres) above sea level, approximately 5.7 kilometres (3.5 mi) from Acmonan, Tupi, South Cotabato.

[4] It has two hot springs, called Acmonan and Linan, 5.7 kilometres (3.5 mi) west-southwest of the volcano.

Adjacent volcanic edifices are Landayao, Tampad, and Albulhek, which are all west of the volcano, and Magolo to the north.

The crater is breached by three gorges and has a 120-metre (390 ft) deep, densely forested floor.
