Mount Perren

Mount Perren is located on the border of Alberta and British Columbia on the Continental Divide.

It was named in 1968 after Walter Perren, a Swiss climbing guide and Parks Canada service warden.

The mountains in Banff Park are composed of sedimentary rock laid down during the Precambrian to Jurassic periods.
