Mughar (Persian: موغار)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Garmsir Rural District of Mahabad District, Ardestan County, Isfahan province, Iran.

[4] The previous capital of the rural district was the village of Mahabad,[5] now a city.

[4] At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,272 in 340 households, when it was in the Central District.
