[1] Four days after Bless This House ended with the 13th and final-ever episode of the sixth series, Sid James died from a heart attack after collapsing while on stage at the Sunderland Empire Theatre, aged 62.
When Sid discovers why Jean is sulking and Sally and Mike won't talk to him, he goes to the pub.
