The Municipality of Vitanje (pronounced [ˈʋiːtanjɛ]; Slovene: Občina Vitanje) is a municipality below the slopes of Pohorje in northeastern Slovenia.

The area is part of the traditional region of Styria.

The municipality is now included in the Savinja Statistical Region.
