The first lighthouse, built in 1912, was a metal skeletal tower on piles, which was deactivated in 1934 when became operational the current.
The lighthouse consists of a two-stages cylindrical stone tower, 35 metres (115 ft) high, with double balcony and lantern.

The Directional light is positioned at 35 metres (115 ft) above sea level and emits one white flash in a 6 seconds period, visible up to a distance of 20 nautical miles (37 km; 23 mi).
