Myrne (Ukrainian: Мирне; Russian: Мирное, romanized: Mirnoye) is an urban-type settlement in Volnovakha Raion, Donetsk Oblast, eastern Ukraine.
[3] Myrne was founded in 1951 in connection with the construction of granite quarries in the local area.
At the time of its founding, it was located in Telmanove Raion, Donetsk Oblast in the Ukrainian SSR.
[1] In December 2014, during the war in Donbas, separatists loyal to the Donetsk People's Republic, a pro-Russian breakaway state in eastern Ukraine, had seized control of most of Telmanove Raion.
[6] Boikivske Raion was abolished by the Ukrainian government as an administrative unit in July 2020.
