Myrtle Augee

Myrtle Sharon Mary Augee (born 4 February 1965 in Greenwich, Greater London) is a female retired English shot putter.

Augee now works as a custodial manager in a prison and was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the 2009 Birthday Honours.

[3][4] Four years later she represented England and won a gold medal, at the 1990 Commonwealth Games in Auckland, New Zealand.

[7][8] The final appearance was when she represented England and won another silver, at the 1998 Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

[9][10] Her personal best put was 19.03 metres, achieved in June 1990 in Cardiff placing her second on the British outdoor list, behind Judy Oakes.
